Workshop: Unhealthy academic cultures in biomedical research

Workshop as Part of the Springer Nature Visiting Professorship.

In the workshop you will examine aspects of research cultures that undermine research, aspects that help keep research robust, and explore and develop constructive systemic approaches by universities, funders, publishers and individual researchers. You will develop recommendations for Heidelberg University and/or other institutions.

Please note: This is the catch-up date, because the workshop had be postponed (in Feb 2019). Therefore, the capacity for new participants is limited to 15 students.

Lecturer: Sir Philip Campbell PhD served as editor-in-chief of the journal Nature from 1995 till 2018. In July2018 he took over the position of editor-in-chief of Springer Nature Publishing
